Recordings are often un-useful. Often, the recording starts late, just in time to see the person or car leaving the view. The cameras *really* need to cache footage, so it can include a few extra seconds once it detects motion. Also, recording often stops while there is still motion happening. I have all the settings such that both of these things shouldn't occur (high motion sensitivity, clip recording time, etc) The app is good, ability to look thru recordings is good.

I really like the Tapo cameras. No annoying pop up asking for a subscription to delay your connection every time. The other brands all enough that, by the time you connect, any thief has cleaned out your home. The picture is always good - day and night. The recordings are easy to get to and with larger capacity micro SD cards can store for weeks. It is easy to capture video or still shots to your phone to send via email or They have a great line up of cameras. All usable within this app.

I will have to say so far so good. It was replacing an older Vivint combo lock from 10 years ago that died. The install was simple and it works a lot smoother than the older lock. I can see why the batter is said to last 7 months. The app works great. I did have a issue connecting to my network at first but I got it connected. I may replace my front door lock and I've been wanting a combo lock for my deck so maybe 2 more 🤔. For the price, it's great.
