At eStoreLabs , we believe that great engineering is driven by passion, both inside and outside the office. When Greg Sulich, our CTO, isn't busy designing the high-performance architecture that powers our eCommerce solutions, he is tackling complex optimization challenges in game development. He has just released the demo for his solo-developed logistics game, Star Haul Tycoon, and we couldn't be more proud to share his work! It takes serious dedication to build and launch a project of this scale after hours. If you’re a fan of strategy, optimization, or just want to support an amazing piece of game engineering, check out his post below and give the demo a try on Steam! 🚀👇 https://lnkd.in/dGrCFfRg #eStoreLabs #TechLeadership #SoftwareDevelopment #GameDev #Innovation #ProudTeam #eStoreRocks
As CTO at eStoreLabs, my days are spent architecting enterprise scale eCommerce solutions, managing a brilliant team and driving tech strategy. But sometimes, you just need to get your hands dirty and write some code for the pure joy of it. I'm incredibly proud to announce that after months of evening and weekend coding, I've just released the playable demo for my solo indie game: Star Haul Tycoon. Built from scratch in the Godot Engine, it's a space logistics and management simulator where players must optimize complex supply chains and manage hundreds of cargo ships across the galaxy. Building this was a fantastic technical challenge: optimizing a centralized game loop to handle 1K+ active agents reminded me of the performance bottlenecks we solve in high traffic eCommerce environments. If you enjoy management games (or just want to see what I've been building after hours!), you can check out the free demo on Steam below. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dg9MA5tC (And if you like it, a Wishlist and/or a Review goes a long way!) 🚀 #GameDev #GodotEngine #CTO #SoftwareEngineering #IndieDev #eStoreLabs
