🇺🇦 🇪🇪 A Step Toward Change: Impact.Zhytomyr 2.0 Winners Returned from a Study Visit to Estonia The team of In Touch Ukraine Foundation, with their project “Mobile Medicine for Remote Communities of Zhytomyr Region”, won the Impact.Zhytomyr 2.0 educational program – a three-month initiative supporting local projects in Zhytomyr region, co-organized by Civitta – and was awarded with a study trip to Estonia from the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV). During a four-day visit, doctors from Olevsk and Ovruch communities, together with In Touch Ukraine Foundation representatives, explored Estonia’s healthcare and social protection systems, visiting over 10 institutions to study practical service delivery models. According to Tetiana Kolbovska, Medical Director of the Ovruch Primary Healthcare Center, the visit provided clear, actionable insights and new ideas to strengthen local healthcare. The delegation noted it was not just a study trip, but a meaningful step toward systemic change in the region. The Impact.Zhytomyr 2.0 program is implemented by the consulting company Civitta with the support of the Government of Estonia, the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV), the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration and the Zhytomyr Region Development Agency.

Last week, Civitta Latvia presented the results of the ex-post evaluation of the National Defence Education and Youth Guard Law at a seminar hosted by the State Chancellery. Civitta implemented this project in cooperation with the Valsts kanceleja, the Youth Guard Centre and the Aizsardzības ministrija, contributing to the future development of youth defence education in Latvia and highlighting the importance of evidence-based policymaking. We are especially proud that our work received strong recognition at the event, including a framed Certificate of Appreciation from the Youth Guard Centre.
