What a milestone for JazzWorld. JazzWorld has been recognized with the Gold Category award at the Employers’ Federation of Pakistan - Pakistan Business and Disability Network (PBDN) 3rd Disability Inclusion Recognition Awards, honoring our commitment to building a more inclusive, accessible, and equitable workplace. The award was presented by the Governor of Sindh, Syed Nehal Hashmi, recieved by Dr. Rabia Khattak, Head of DEI at JazzWorld. At JazzWorld, inclusion is embedded into how we build our workplace culture, employee experiences, and digital future. From barrier-free workplaces and accessible tools to inclusive hiring pathways, internship opportunities, employee support systems, and awareness-led initiatives, we continue to strengthen an ecosystem where everyone can thrive. This recognition was achieved in collaboration with valued inclusion partners including Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Sightsavers, International Labour Organization (ILO), and Standard Chartered Foundation, reflecting the power of collective action in advancing disability inclusion across Pakistan. Adding to this momentum, JazzWorld was also recognized as First Runner-Up at the 8th OICCI Women Empowerment Awards under the theme: “From Policy to Practice: Advancing Corporate Investment in Women Leaders.” Speaking during the engagement, Dr. Rabia Khattak highlighted JazzWorld’s continued efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion through progressive workplace policies and employee support systems, including parental leave, domestic violence support, iddat leave, flexible work arrangements, and initiatives designed to create equitable opportunities for women and underrepresented groups. These recognitions reflect the progress JazzWorld continues to make in building a workplace where inclusion is not treated as an initiative, but as a long-term business and cultural priority. JazzWorld Headquarters welcomed a senior Government of Bangladesh delegation for a knowledge exchange on digital transformation, financial inclusion, AI readiness, 5G, and emerging digital ecosystems across South Asia. The engagement included a guided visit to our Network Operations Center and focused sessions on JazzWorld’s evolution into Pakistan’s leading integrated digital ServiceCo, including the role of JazzCash in expanding financial inclusion and enabling MSME growth. “Engagements like this reflect the shared reality that digital transformation is a collective journey. By learning from each other’s experiences and strengthening collaboration across the region, we can deepen inclusion and expand access to next-generation technologies,” said Zaheer Mehdi, Group Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs, JazzWorld. As Pakistan and Bangladesh continue advancing their digital ambitions, platforms for regional collaboration and knowledge sharing will be critical to building more inclusive, resilient, and future-ready economies.

Pakistan has made significant progress in expanding digital connectivity and access. But to truly unlock the full potential of the digital economy, the focus must now shift toward meaningful digital participation - through greater affordability, wider smartphone access, stronger digital literacy, and more inclusive access to digital services.
