17th year working with the Adelaide University , teaching students in Mine Design and Feasibility. Our Technical Lead, Mining Engineer Adrián Solórzano spent ten days on-site with HowMine in Zimbabwe recently, delivering tailored Maptek Vulcan training and consulting for their engineering team. A range of topics were covered, from Vulcan basics to Underground Design. The focus was to enable engineers to create designs that can be seamlessly integrated into a scheduling package for long, medium, and short-term plans. 💡 This was the first of two planned trips to the site, and we’re looking forward to the next scheduling course. What an incredible week at PDAC 2026! 🎉 The Maptek team had a fantastic time connecting with clients, industry peers, and new faces at our booth. It was a great opportunity to share how our technologies are advancing safety, resource modeling, and operational efficiency in the mining and exploration sectors. We ended the event on a high note with our Maptek Workshop Breakfast – Advancing Mining Safety and Technology. The turnout and engagement from attendees across the industry were fantastic, and we’re grateful for the thoughtful discussions that took place.
