We’re pleased to announce a new collaboration between Rialto and Ingram Library Services, a division of Ingram Content Group (“Ingram”). Print content from Ingram will soon be available in Rialto, further expanding the Rialto Marketplace. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to innovation and collaboration. Through this expansion of Rialto, librarians will soon be able to acquire printed books directly from the extensive Ingram catalogue.
The addition of Ingram represents another important milestone in the ongoing expansion of the Rialto marketplace, introducing another trusted aggregator to the platform. By integrating Ingram’s comprehensive catalog, we are responding directly to feedback from our library partners who are looking for print choice, flexibility, and access to a broader range of academic content. This collaboration not only increases the selection of available titles but also brings valuable print content that supports teaching, learning, and research for our institutions.
This content will be incorporated into Rialto’s new referral model, enabling streamlined discovery and ordering for libraries.
Referral Model
The Referral Model is an enhanced approach in Rialto that streamlines content acquisition for libraries by facilitating direct engagement with provider platforms. The Referral Model has been shared with a broad range of community stakeholders, including the Rialto Working Group, the Rialto Focus Group, ELUNA, Customer Advisory Boards, and various individual institutions and the feedback has been very positive.
