Our Program: High-Impact Tutoring Built for Results
By partnering with elementary schools to deliver live virtual high-dose tutoring, we support educators in their mission to set every student up for a lifetime of success. Our low-ratio (1:1 and 1:2) grouping combined with instruction rooted in the Science of Reading accelerates foundational literacy skill growth, ensuring students rapidly move toward grade-level proficiency.
And once OnYourMark students achieve grade-level reading proficiency, they maintain that success—no sliding back.

Our program is built on the Science of Reading and complements your existing literacy instruction. We focus on the fundamental reading skills to build the knowledge students need to succeed academically and beyond the classroom. Obsessing over these small skills ensures that our students achieve big growth.

Our tutors make the difference. We carefully screen every tutor applicant to provide the highest quality tutors for our students, accepting roughly 1 in 10 applicants. All OnYourMark tutors receive 22 hours of upfront training plus 60 minutes of ongoing professional development weekly.
Regular progress monitoring fuels our data-driven approach. Using validated benchmark assessments such as DIBELS® in addition to biweekly formative assessments, tutors customize their instruction to meet students’ individual needs and celebrate their growth. This way, OnYourMark not only provides targeted intervention but also accelerated skills mastery.
Research proves that interventions are more effective when delivered during the school day. That’s why OnYourMark works with schools to schedule tutoring during school hours. Our 20-minute sessions, 4 days each week, fit seamlessly within school master schedules to augment existing reading instruction and support classroom teachers.
