Goblin Sushi Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Goblin Sushi mobile application (the “Application”), created by Old Cake Factory GmbH (“Service Provider”). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information to ensure a safe and transparent gaming experience.

1. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

• Contractual Necessity: To provide the leaderboard and cloud save features.
• Legitimate Interests: To ensure game security, prevent cheating, and manage app performance.

2. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects limited information to provide core gameplay features and facilitate cross-device progress:

• Leaderboard Data: If you choose to participate in the leaderboard, we collect the Username you provide and your High Scores. This data is stored on our secure, self-hosted backend. Your username and scores are public and visible to all other players.
• Game Save Data: Your game progress (unlocks and collection) is synced via Google Play Saved Games (Android) or Apple Game Center/iCloud (iOS). We do not store this save data on our own infrastructure.
• Technical Identifiers: We may log your device’s IP address and operating system version for security and diagnostic purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes trusted platform services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies:

4. Your Rights & Data Deletion

In compliance with global privacy laws (including GDPR and App Store/Play Store requirements), you have full control over your data:

• Initiating Deletion: You can request the permanent deletion of your leaderboard profile and username at any time. For your convenience, a "Delete Leaderboard Data" button is located in the in-game Settings menu, which will direct you to our secure request form.
• Manual Request: You may also request data deletion by contacting us at the email below or by visiting our web request form at https://links.oldcakefactory.games/delete_data.
• Manual Processing: To ensure accuracy and security, deletion requests submitted via our web form are processed manually by our team within 7 business days.
• Right to Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold regarding your leaderboard entry by contacting us via email.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data transmitted between the Application and our backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We retain leaderboard data as long as the account is active. Using the in-app "Delete" feature will immediately and permanently wipe your record from our active database.

6. Children’s Privacy

Goblin Sushi is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover a child under 13 has submitted a username, we will delete it from our servers immediately upon notification.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
