⚠ Scam alert ⚠ We’re aware of customers receiving cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB, saying fraudulent activity has been detected on their personal or business account. Scammers are asking victims to enter a fake web address where their banking details are then stolen. They are also being asked to verbally share verification codes (like Netcodes sent to their phone and the code from their FastNet Business token). If someone calls you claiming to be from ASB, ask them for a Caller Check notification. If they can't send one, or you receive a "Caller Check" anywhere other than the ASB Mobile Banking app, it’s likely a scam. Hang up and call ASB on our publicly listed number. Remember we will: ⚠ Never ask you to read out your verification codes. ⚠ Never ask you to type any web address into your browser unless it's asb.co.nz ⚠ Never ask for your banking passwords or PINs. ⚠ Never need to know your full credit card number - especially not the CVV. ⚠ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device. If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call us immediately on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or +64 9 303 0332 if you're overseas, or visit your local branch.

Protecting our natural environment takes long-term commitment and the right support. 🌱 That’s why we get behind the Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust through volunteering and the ASB Local Community Fund. The mahi they’re doing to restore native habitats and protect biodiversity is vital and is a great example of what’s possible when community organisations are empowered to make a difference where it matters most. 👉 To learn more and donate to the Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust visit https://www.bpct.org.nz/.
