Recreating real-life locations is one of our favorite parts of working in 3D animation, be it for Oil and Gas or any other industry. As promised, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the 3D animation we created for Ocean Installer in 2023, featuring a recreation of the Port of Pointe-Noire in Congo. Every detail of the environment had to reflect the real location as closely as possible. Maintaining technical and engineering precision as well as creating compelling, beautiful visuals is important in our approach, so that the animation not only looks great, but also communicates complex operations clearly and accurately. This is what our motto "Engineering Meets Art" is all about. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the workflow or technical side of the 3D animation! #3DAnimation #CGI #Visualization #OilAndGasIndustry #Engineering #BehindTheScenes

This 3D animation for Ocean Installer was developed to communicate complex offshore operations in a clear and visually credible way. The focus is on key moments such as the combined tow of an FSU and FLNG system, along with the installation of 66-ton StevShark anchors, among the largest ever built. To present this clearly, we rebuilt Pointe-Noire port in the Republic of Congo from scratch, creating a realistic environment to illustrate the challenges the technology overcomes. Aspects such as reduced visibility due to fog, operational tight tolerances departing port, weather impact and murky waters influenced the real-life execution of the project, making them important to recreate in the 3D animation. Follow along for our 3 part series of this particular project! Next week, we will share some behind-the-scenes insights from our work on this animation—stay tuned. #3DAnimation #Offshore #CGI #OilAndGas #EngineeringInnovation #OffshoreTechnology

We are recognized as experts in 3D animation for the oil and gas sector, however we regularly apply the same skills to various different projects, in this case architectural visualization. For AEC Prefab, one of Norway’s leading providers of engineering services for prefabricated buildings, we created a brief explainer animation to present their process and capabilities. The approach combined photorealistic elements with a clean, minimal environment, allowing us to highlight the technology without any unnecessary surrounding details. More to come! #3DAnimation #TechnicalAnimation #EngineeringVisualization

Great visuals should age well. We created this 3D animation for Wello nine years ago, and it still holds up today. That’s not by accident. We design with longevity in mind, so our clients’ investment keeps delivering value years down the line. Timeless quality isn’t a bonus, it's our goal. Follow us for a weekly look at what we make and how we make it. #3danimation #renewableenergy #OffshoreEngineering #EngineeringVisualization

What a Tuesday looks like for us! Behind all our visuals, there’s artists that combine their experience and skills for the best possible outcome. PS: maybe you’ll recognize this finished model from a sneak peek of a work in progress we did a while back… 👉 Curious what this process looks like from the inside? At around 3000m underwater, conditions and pressure get extreme, currents are unpredictable, and natural light is almost nonexistent. The environment is closer to outer space than anything we experience on land. All challenges that our client Depro AS wanted us to emphasize. We thrive in finding the balance between the real life complete darkness, low visibility and showing the technology in a “good light”. 🎧 Best experienced with sound. Note: Due to LinkedIn compression, the video quality here isn’t quite at its original level. You can view the full-quality version on our website. Next in our product visualization series: the Gebo's reusable brush! 🌿 While we’re specialized in complex products and innovation for the energy sector, our 3D animations also fit perfectly for everyday objects and innovative designs alike. Here we showcase the brush’s interchangeable heads and sustainable design in a dynamic, eye-catching way. Isn’t this an engaging way to showcase a concept product through 3D animation? How do floating wind turbines stay in place in deep water? 💡 While the systems might look simple from a distance, the engineering below the surface certainly isn’t. We’re excited to support more renewables and offshore wind projects with clear technical 3D visualization like this one. Our 3D animation depicts floating wind platforms developed by Hexicon, designed to operate in deep waters where traditional bottom-fixed turbines can’t be installed. Their TwinWind foundation allows the entire unit to rotate with the wind direction. Two turbines on one floating foundation also increase power density, enabling more energy to be generated within the same offshore area. Floating platforms unlock stronger and more consistent offshore winds, enabling large-scale renewable energy generation further out at sea. 🌊 💬 Energy professionals: What other renewable energy technologies would benefit from clearer 3D visualization? We’re curious to hear your experience! #3DAnimation #RenewableEnergy #OffshoreWind #EnergyTransition #EngineeringVisualization
