One year of impact, innovation, and growth.  Last year, XD Connects completed one of its largest-ever investment: the expansion of our logistics and production facility in Romania. One year later, the results speak for themselves—and for the future of our business.    This expansion was not just about space. Behind every achievement, there’s a team. Last week, we came together for the annual XD Connects staff meeting and company celebration—a powerful moment of connection, reflection, and forward thinking. For the first time, colleagues from our HQ, international offices, and the full Vinga team stood side by side. Nearly 200 people from over 20 countries gathered in one space—sharing ideas, energy, and a collective vision for what’s next. Although our 500 production colleagues in Romania were not present, their contributions remain also vital to our success.    During the evening, our CEO, Albert Van Der Veen, reflected on the milestones of the past year and the ambitious goals set for 2025. His words reminded us of the strength that comes from unity—and the purpose that drives everything we do. As we continue to grow across borders and brands, our mission remains the same: to change the way we give—through innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact. This national award nominates each year initiatives for a greener future, offering a platform to showcase environmental commitment. Three nominees compete, with only one winner. The winning ESG project, “IMPACT Zero Water II”, achieved a remarkable 96% reduction in technological water consumption over 3 years. Through an advanced water treatment and recirculation system, approx. 600 liters of water are reused over 5–6 months. Innovations in monitoring and process optimization further minimized usage, cut operational costs, and boosted team efficiency.
