Parcel carrier DPD UK (DPD) and Vanderlande have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship. However, their collaborative efforts were taken to a whole new level when they joined forces to create DPD’s largest delivery depot in London Docklands. The two companies worked together to resolve significant structural issues with the building before Vanderlande’s CROSSORTER 1200 and COMPAXORTER systems could begin processing parcels in November 2023. Physical work is still a reality in parcel operations and the strain on operators is growing. Tasks like unloading and outbound loading remain among the heaviest processes on the floor. While regulations are increasing pressure to act, real progress depends on making ergonomics part of operational design. Many solutions exist, but often struggle with footprint constraints, parcel diversity or a clear business case, leaving a gap between intent and implementation. Yet better ergonomics isn’t just about compliance. It drives lower absenteeism, higher retention and more stable performance during peak periods. Improving ergonomics is a journey, not a quick fix and the time to start is now. Read more: https://lnkd.in/ePn2bdbV #ergonomics #blog #parcel #operational

We had an incredible time supporting Georgia Kids Belong at their Masters themed Topgolf Tournament on March 19th! 💚⛳️ Our Vanderlande Cares team was honored to sponsor the event and spend the evening connecting, swinging, and showing up for an organization that is transforming lives across Georgia. Their work supports foster youth statewide—especially the children still waiting for adoptive families—and we’re grateful to stand behind that mission. Thank you to the Georgia’s Kids Belong team for hosting such a meaningful event and for the warm welcome. We’re proud to be part of a community that comes together to make belonging possible for every child. 💛 #VanderlandeCares #GeorgiaKidsBelong #MariettaGA #TopgolfEvent #CommunityImpact #FosterCareAwareness

It’s Circular Economy Week in the Netherlands - a great moment to highlight how circularity is already a core part of how we work at Vanderlande. Circularity reduces reliance on scarce resources, helps manage supply chain risks and enables our customers to lower their environmental impact. One example is our Reverse Logistics Centre, where returned materials from global project sites are assessed, refurbished and reintegrated into the supply chain. This helps reduce waste, lower emissions and keep valuable resources in use for longer. Watch the video to see circularity in action.

The installation of a cross-dock sorting solution at Harris Farm Markets’ new warehouse in Sydney, Australia, is helping to move an extensive range of fruit and vegetables, and other perishables to its stores quickly and efficiently. At the heart of the new automation is Vanderlande’s POSISORTER sliding shoe sorter, which has dramatically improved capacity while allowing the company to plan for future growth with confidence. “Human error has dropped dramatically, because the system is quick, exact and safe,” says Angus Harris, co-CEO of Harris Farm Markets. “Everyone loves the fact that we can get through the day’s orders in full, and stock is rarely carried over.” Read more about this successful collaboration: https://lnkd.in/ehp3JJJT ➡️ With the intended formation of TAL, all our warehousing content will move there as of 1 April 2026 — follow Toyota Automated Logistics to stay updated.
