After hosting our own con, attending a Renaissance Faire was the obvious next step, right?🧝♀️ Last weekend me and my fellow students got to promote our study Creative Media and Game Technologies at one of the biggest RenFaires of the Netherlands: Elfia. This year I had the pleasure and honour of helping to organise our annual Reality Check Festival, as well hosting CMGT’s first ever CMGTcon!💫 At CMGTcon, my fellow students, my teachers and the many guests and visitors had the opportunity to see CMGT’s own students display their own creations in the Artist Alley, the opportunity to follow Workshops and the chance to walk on our beautiful Cosplay Catwalk! It was such a fun time to put this event together, to see everyone enjoy themselves and be themselves in our own OTSWO🥹💕 Creative Media and Game Technologies will always stand for you to be as you are, even (and especially) if that means you’ll put on a cute outfit or a wig to strut down the runway✨ A special thanks for Mark Schipper Svetomira Kostova and Agnese Flugina , as well as all other people who helped making this amazing event come to life🩷

Today a student team of Creative Media and Game Technologies, consisting of Joana S., Ana Similiac, Andreea Nan and Devin B., presented the concept for a VR experience to make society Dementia friendly. They worked on behalf of 'Dementia friendly Zutphen" cooperating with Diewerke de Boer and Alzheimervrijwilligers. #Saxioncmgt #saxionxrlab
