In the world of operations and deliveries, every second counts. Thanks to its slim design, side shutters, centrally-placed battery, and so many more smart features, the EPV makes delivering groceries efficient and intuitive. Look out for these smart features next time you see an EPV in your neighbourhood - and don’t forget to give the runner a wave! 👋

🥇 We’re thrilled to share that Picnic’s challenge took the 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 at this year’s Q-Summit Hackathon! The Q-Hack is a 24-hour innovation sprint where student teams tackle real-world problems with real impact. For Picnic’s first-ever Hackathon, we challenged participants to do something bold: 🌍 Build the world's 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 supermarket. The winning team, Heidi A., Dmitrij Kraus, Jannes Rudnick, Florian Stahr, and Marius Gebert focused on a smarter, more sustainable supply chain. Their solution helps to detect mold in warehouses early on. A solution designed to reduce waste, cut CO₂ emissions, and make operations more sustainable from the ground up. We were truly inspired by the dedication, energy, and entrepreneurial spirit in the room. The Q-Hackathon is all about collaboration, problem-solving, and building fast — and that’s exactly how we work at Picnic, too. A huge thanks to the organizers of the Q-Summit and everyone who took on our challenge. We left inspired, and proud to support the next generation of tech talent working to build a better, more sustainable future. ☀️

A very special highlight today coming straight from Lille 🇫🇷 ! Eloïse Duyck is celebrating 3 years at Picnic tomorrow and we couldn't be prouder of her journey so far: "When I first spotted Picnic’s job offer on LinkedIn, I have to admit, I hesitated. The idea of going through an English interview made me back out at first! But when the offer crossed my path again, something told me to give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did. 🌟 I joined as a logistics supervisor in Lille, despite having only three months’ experience in logistics. Over time, I helped launch the Paris warehouse, organized truck planning, handled suppliers, and gradually became the go-to person for transport topics, culminating in a new position as national transport manager! And because I love challenges and learning new things, I’ve now stepped into a completely new adventure: real estate research, where I bring all my operational experience to broaden Picnic’s expansion in France. What I love most about Picnic is its spirit. It’s a mix of energy, action, continuous improvement, and above all, trust. It’s a joy to work with people who are genuinely motivated to move the company forward, and always in a collaborative, good-humored atmosphere. Picnic gives itself the means to succeed and gives ideas, people and tests a chance. One of my favorite projects has been searching for a new warehouse location for our next regional expansion (I can’t say too much yet 🤫). It’s a huge responsibility, and I’m honored that Picnic trusts me with such an important mission. I love that I get to stay connected to operations while collaborating with external partners and amazing colleagues across borders, who put all their experience and kindness at my disposal.
