Last Thursday was one of those days that made us feel truly proud of what we are building with Hexwise. As shared in our previous post, Pim van Ramshorst and Herbert Niels van der Meulen represented us at the final demo day of the LeapSprong innovation program in Amsterdam, where Hexwise was recognized with the LeapSprong 2.0 Award. At the same time, Niels Bergsma and Roy Manting were in Essen for the kick-off of the BRYCK Startup Alliance accelerator. 🚀 Hexwise has been selected for this 12-week program, which supports promising startups in scaling their technology, strategy and market access. For us, this is a great opportunity to further explore the German market and connect with new investors, partners and customers in the Ruhr area and beyond. The Ruhr region has a strong industrial base, making it a highly relevant environment for Hexwise. Many industrial companies face growing pressure to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions and get more performance out of existing assets. That is exactly where our Digital Twin technology for industrial cooling systems can make a difference. A big thank you to BRYCK Startup Alliance for the strong kick-off, and to Ralph Jansen, Derk Marseille and Connectr - Energy innovation for setting up the connection. Not because of one milestone, but because of two. 🚀 At the final demo day of the LeapSprong innovation program, Pim van Ramshorst and Herbert Niels van der Meulen did a fantastic job presenting Hexwise and showing how we help industrial companies improve the performance of industrial cooling systems. Industrial cooling is still one of the most underestimated sources of energy inefficiency, production limitations and operational losses. Through our Digital Twin technology, we help customers better understand, optimize and improve these critical systems. We are very proud that Hexwise will continue working with Shell and the Shell Technology team at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam, and that this collaboration was recognized with the LeapSprong 2.0 Award and a 6-month ETCA membership. A big thank you to everyone involved in the LeapSprong program, including Gemeente Amsterdam, Rockstart, Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam, Port of Amsterdam, and all mentors, experts, partners and fellow startups who made this program so valuable. I am especially thankful to Kirsten Gesink, Sander Groenteman, Jan-Joost van Dam and Edwin Huiberts for the support and input during the program. On that same day, Roy Manting and I had the opportunity to represent Hexwise during the kick-off of the BRYCK Startup Alliance accelerator in Essen. Hexwise has been selected for this 12-week program, focused on helping promising European startups scale their technology, strategy and market access. We are looking forward to meeting new investors, partners and customers in the Ruhr area and the wider German market, and to exploring how Hexwise can contribute to more efficient and sustainable industrial operations across Europe. Industrial cooling is still one of the most underestimated drivers of energy inefficiency and production loss. Last week at the LeapSprong Demo Days, Hexwise showed how we’re tackling this challenge and what it can unlock at scale. During this closing event, Pim van Ramshorst took the stage to present how Hexwise improves industrial efficiency through optimized cooling systems and processes. In practice, cooling limitations still lead to energy losses, reduced throughput, and operational constraints across industrial operations, especially during peak conditions. As part of the program, Hexwise has been collaborating closely with the Shell Technology team at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam (ETCA). Together, we’re working towards deploying our Digital Twin technology for air-cooled cooling systems to structurally improve performance, increase energy efficiency, and reduce emissions across Shell’s global asset portfolio. We’re proud that this collaboration was recognized with the LeapSprong 2.0 Award, along with a 6-month membership at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam. A special thank you to Kirsten Gesink and Edwin Huiberts for your collaboration, energy, and commitment throughout this project.
