🇯🇵 A great first experience for HERE at Automotive Engineering Expo in Japan. Over the past days, our team showcased how HERE is supporting the future of software-defined vehicles (SDVs), with solutions including HERE Navigation, SDV Accelerator and SceneXtract. A highlight from the stage: Junji Yamashita’s session explored new possibilities enabled by next-generation location technologies, including SDV Accelerator, developed with Amazon Web Services (AWS), and SceneXtract for building virtual 3D driving scenarios. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and connected with the team. 🙌

HERE WeGo App
GPS-navigatiesoftware
It was time to reboot WeGo, with a fresher, more modern edge. We’ve made the navigation simpler and you can now choose your preferred mode of transportation. Throw into the mix saving maps for offline use, using shortcuts to get directions in one click, and even displaying parking availability at your destination and you’ll see that WeGo does everything that you need. There’s more to come, too. A lot more, so keep an eye out for more updates over the coming months. And you can help us create the app you want. Tell us what you’d love to see added next. It might be real-time information on public transportation, screening times for cinemas, or even shuttle times for the International Space Station…(It’s ok to think outside of the box.) Get early access to updates by downloading the WeGo Beta version and join our growing community. Ready to enjoy your journey? HERE WeGo.

At Home Delivery World, we focused on one of the biggest challenges in logistics today: closing the gap between route planning and real-world execution. Bart Coppelmans’ session sparked strong interest in how solutions like Last Meter Guidance can improve last-mile performance. Conversations then centered on routing, address quality, and TMS environments, with a clear focus on improving delivery precision and efficiency. This continues to build momentum around AI-powered last-mile delivery and location intelligence, helping operations teams make faster decisions, reduce errors, and deliver more reliably at scale. Two cities, two hackathons, one shared goal: empowering the next generation of geospatial innovators. 🌍🚀 In May, we had the privilege of hosting two incredible geospatial student hackathons with outstanding partners, mentors, and participants pushing the boundaries of AI-driven geospatial solutions. 📍 In Kraków, we organized the hackathon together with the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection, and Placematic. Over two inspiring days, 12 teams tackled complex geospatial challenges with fresh ideas, bold thinking, and impressive innovation. Huge congratulations to the winning team TramLovers: Filip Żołnierczyk, Krzysztof Sowa, and Antoni Weichönig! 👏 A heartfelt thank you to: Dean Carstens, Natasha Maraj, Filip Hałys, Piotr Bochenek, Jakub Sawicki, Miłosz Jeżyna, Maria Kowtunenko, Uliana Z., Lola Varga, Kacper G., Anna Kubiak, and Natalia Kubala for creating such an inspiring experience and fantastic atmosphere. 📍 In Guadalajara, HERE partnered with Women For The Future to host our third Geospatial Student Hackathon in Mexico, welcoming 18 talented students from Tecnológico de Monterrey for an intense 24-hour challenge. Fueled by creativity and determination, participants worked through the night to deliver innovative solutions — and the competition came down to just one point between first and second place! We’re excited to continue supporting this incredible talent pipeline and look forward to welcoming these outstanding young women as interns this summer. 💡 A huge thank you to Women for The Future, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and everyone who helped make both events such a success. The future of geospatial innovation is bright — and we’re just getting started. ✨
