Two weeks ago, I completed the LadderTech Mentorship Program. The transformation? Profound ✨ Through eight weeks of honest conversations, My mentor, Kingsley Adio helped me see the difference between just writing code and thinking like an engineer. We dove deep into everything from writing code to system architecture, from business thinking to technical decision-making. What struck me most was how mentorship fills the gaps that self-learning leaves behind. Those unwritten industry rules, the reasoning behind best practices, the mindset shift from local to global opportunities - these aren't things you pick up from tutorials. They require someone who's walked the path to show you the way. This program didn't just upgrade my technical skills; it transformed how I see my career trajectory. I now approach problems with a different lens, understanding not just the how but the why behind every technical decision.
