This capability is productionized within 9 months from ideation, and has already realized $5million+ for the company.

  • Data Strategy and Architecture for P&G Beauty Manufacturing and Supply Chain

    Played a key role to define the data Strategy and Architecture requirements for IIoT/Industry 4.0 prog for P&G beauty and across the BU’s. Examples of this work includes- defining requirements to deploy a machine learning application in minimal costs and efforts; defining a database and latency requirements to store and acquire data for various application purposes.
    I partnered with GBS IT and R&D to execute these infrastructure needs within P&G.

  • Smart Quality | Thermal Image Analytics Using Deep Learning

    -

    Developed a proof of concept to predict Shampoo sachet seal integrity using Thermal Image Analytics. This POC demonstrated the capability and had potential savings of $250K/ year.
    Tools- Thermal cameras- high speed, Deep Learning, CNN, Edge Analytics evaluations and feasibility.

  • Smart Manufacturing (IIoT) | Predictive Maintenance and Productivity

    -

    Developed and deployed a ML solution (Prognostics/Predictive Maintenance) to predict next Machine stops 15 mins ahead of time using equipment IoT/sensor data.
    The predicted m/c’s top stops and Quality issues with 80% accuracy and has helped to reduce 50% unplanned stops.

    Tools- Python, SQL DB. This ML solution is deployed and maintained 1+ year.

  • Packaging Guru- Manufacturing Analytics (BI)/ Product Management

    Developed, deployed and maintained Packaging Guru (Spotfire based BI Dashboard) for global audience. This platform drives the visibility of manufacturing lines across Hair care and built using SQL database and Spotfire. This platform leverages various data sources like- machine uptime/downtime, Quality, packaging parameters to draw new to the world insights contributing 16% Availability improvement and $7 million in savings across Hair care globally and several hrs. of productivity improvement…
