AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. remains committed to supporting the welfare and education of the community as seen in the Majlis Penyerahan Zakat Wakalah dan Wakaf Smartboard, the result of a collaboration between Pusat Pungutan Zakat MAIWP (PPZ-MAIWP), UniMAIWP, and AIA PUBLIC Takaful. This initiative aims to ease the burden of underprivileged (asnaf) students while empowering their learning through zakat and wakaf contributions, providing these students and educators with long-lasting benefits. From Patient Care to Data-Driven Impact   Jing Lynn spent years caring for patients — first as a trained pharmacist with KKM, then in private practice. Managing patients face-to-face taught her how to listen, assess and respond with precision. When the opportunity at AIA came knocking, she felt ready to apply her clinical expertise on a larger scale.   Two years in, she is supporting claims, shaping strategies and contributing to decisions that directly impact customer health outcomes. “It’s fast-paced, but exciting and the agile way of working here helps us keep up as healthcare and insurance are constantly evolving.”   Jing Lynn has experienced real professional growth. To complement her strong clinical background, she has developed new strengths in data analytics and storytelling. HR-led workshops have equipped her with tools to present data in a way that creates insight and impact.   What she appreciates most is how the different expertise in her team comes together seamlessly. “We each have our own specialties, but when a project comes up, we unite,” she said. Cross-functional collaboration, open feedback and a “tribe” mindset keep the team strong. In a role that’s still relatively new in the industry, she sees tremendous potential - not just for the work, but for her own growth. “Maybe one day I’ll venture outside the clinical space, but still within insurance.”   Jing Lynn’s journey is a reminder that the willingness to expand on our strengths can present unexpected new career opportunities.

Heng Ah, Ong Ah, Huat Ahhhhh!!!! Our head office came alive in vibrant energy and colour to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, the Chinese zodiac symbolising courage, momentum and bold new possibilities. The celebration opened with cultural performances and a lively CNY-inspired quiz which added a spark of friendly competition to the moment of togetherness. The festivities kicked into high gear with our CEO Zee Wang Heng officiating, before passing the baton to the energetic and cheeky lions to show off their acrobatic dance moves as they showered our office with blessings of health, vitality and good fortune. Our CEO then spent the rest of the morning paying surprise visits to various departments to spread more ong and festive cheer, clocking in his Vitality steps along the way.
