Muse reminds me a lot of a combination of two programs....generically a mind-mapping program and an unstructred to do list. Specifically, that would, to me at least, mean "Mind Node" and "Trello" in respective order. It offers the free flow of a mind mapping program with the ability to use almost a 'cork board' style presention, usiing boards, similar to Trello. The product is fairly new and I have used both of the previously mentioned products, extensively, so my comments are all about what we can do to make Muse better. What impressed me likely the most was when I signed up to be a 'member' you get a message from the developers that they appreciate you supporting them and they are there to help you, anytime. That's a nice touch. What we could use, in no particular order is: ability to draw connecting points / lines / arrows on the 'board' workspace. And speaking of that, one thing I LOVE about Muse is they aren't doing crazy colored backgrounds, as Trello does; it's nice to actually have a non-colored background, though I will say, I'd love to have dark mode enabled. Second, we need templates, one thing Trello excels at: to do lists, project management, etc. I'm making my own, but it would be nice to have it, out of the box. Similar to Evernote in the early years, in many ways, I hope Muse's growth is more structured and it doesn't try to be everything for everybody. Perhaps the ultimate comparison I'd offer to the developers is, if you want real perfection in this product, mirror "Ulysses" the writing app; they have it down pat. Lastly, back on topic, I'd love to see fonts and markdown support. And if the sky's the limit: Ulysses integration! I believe in this little group of developers and banked my membership on them growing and have no issue with supporthing that.
