"Part of the development for this should have been to add the lower rep level as a separate mode." - Which somehow was possible for the Lobby and yet we ended up with "we can only make this reputation threshold change at the chat database level". Doesn't feel like your words - or starball's on the original SO thread - really means anything for them.
