Does it at least advertise something that would help you print a page?user400654– user4006542025-01-08 15:14:16 +00:00Commented Jan 8, 2025 at 15:14

8@KevinB Who knows? Wouldn't make it acceptable if it did.Bryan Krause– Bryan Krause2025-01-08 15:15:46 +00:00Commented Jan 8, 2025 at 15:15

Yeah, that one definitely seems scammy. Did you manage to report it?V2Blast– V2Blast StaffMod2025-01-14 03:04:08 +00:00Commented Jan 14, 2025 at 3:04

1@V2Blast Yes, I did. But, I'll say when I encounter these ads on other sites I don't normally bother to report them, doesn't seem something a user should be concerned with. I'm not too happy that I feel some of this responsibility has come to me now as a moderator. I'd otherwise prefer to defend advertising as a way to at least partly support these sites but then this crap...Bryan Krause– Bryan Krause2025-01-14 04:44:46 +00:00Commented Jan 14, 2025 at 4:44

@BryanKrause: Agreed that such ads should be caught/stopped before they're shown to a user, but I think it's still worth reporting if that does happen so that more people aren't misled by it.V2Blast– V2Blast StaffMod2025-01-14 17:57:05 +00:00Commented Jan 14, 2025 at 17:57

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. stack-overflow), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
