I do not see so directly how these knowledgeable subject matter experts are gonna make a difference in the voting. The experts only fill a tiny fraction of the users (yes, they make most answers, with the majority of the answers coming from a tiny fraction od users data.stackexchange.com/stats/query/1156081/… but for voting this may have much less effect, those experts are not gonna see every single question )
