ah yes, the black sheep of the sidekick series, the only one to come with android but didn't even make it up to gingerbread so it could have some kind of usability, even the xda community gave up on this paperweight, slightly more compatible tha...

I always wanted one of the sidekicks, if there were only a way to bump this to an os version that still supports apps I would buy and use one, sadly all this device can do today is basically just text and calls

The Sidekick "4G" only supported 3.5G HSPA, which was technically considered a 4G standard and due to marketing. T-Mobile did not issue SIMs that restricted what network type these phones could connect; rather the 3G.5 HSPA network was shut...
