you still can say its better, but factually, its still slower than the iPhone 14 Pro

A user, 02 Feb 2025Better than Iphone 16 pro maxfirst, Android market hasn't worked since 2017, meaning absolutely 0 apps. second, the fact Android 1.0-1.6 is completely obsolete and lacks software support, including apps like chrome and youtube. third, the lack of onscreen keyboard, meaning you have to use landscape for all of the typing on this device, and finally, the fact its exclusive to t-mobile making this unusable on other carriers.

(I can't find 1.0 ROM - does it even exist???)
No app? No problem. Let's just enjoy it as a showpiece of where the whole Android begins with.
Only problem - I'll soon need a replacement battery. My phone has two but both are swallowing now.

Had this phone when it came out. Was a fantastic phone for the time, way more refined than the blackberry phones that were popular at the time and a lot less clunky to use. Phones have moved on a long way since this came out but it was a fantastic way to get android out to the consumer market.
