It's gonna be completly different. Just like a 2 tb iphone 17 pro max isnt going to have any other difference besides the storage compared to the 512 gb one.

    Eh, I stumbled over a good offer for an 8/256GB model and got one. Not much to say though - physically it looks exactly like the original 6/128GB version (I have one lying around at work), the only difference I can tell so far are the slightly increased specs.

    Availability is a bit weird, they seem to pop up only in tiny amounts, sellers have at most 2-3 or have to order from their supplier. Seems to have been going like this since the release in December.(?) Most Samsung sites still do not list it at all except Samsung Poland. Was it some special model for some big Polish customer? Anyway, nothing specifically Polish about it from what I can see, a regular EU model.

            Heh, I lost interest in this phone once its lacklustre specs and features were released. Now I pop back in and find that Ssmsung quietly released an upgraded version with 8/256GB. When did that happen? Regardless, this is arguably the minimum of what this phone should have been in the first place. Still miffed about the loss of the headphone jack, but at least the Xcover7 Pro is now more of an upgrade than a sidegrade compared to the X6P. I hope Samsung releases an X8P by the time my X6P runs out of support, but at least now there is an alternative to fall back on.

Shame both do not have local after sales support like Xperias and I still cannot forget the pain of finding spare parts for the LG Velvet. Which I just got rid of since my only hope was a motherboard from a defective unit.

They've transcended the low-end, cheap, counterfeit products we usually associate with them. I've been using their Armor 24 for over two years. While it's a bit bulky, the 22000mAh battery provides excellent battery life, and I've completely gotten used to its weight. It hasn't even malfunctioned after several falls from horseback. Of course, it's not really comparable to the XCover7 Pro; while both are robust phones, they target very different markets and user groups. In the past, the biggest problem with these phones was the lack of software security updates. When I first bought this phone, it was running Android 13, but they recently pushed out an Android 15 update, which was a pleasant surprise and shows they're increasingly valuing user feedback. It features a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM cards, a dedicated Micro SD card slot, infrared night vision, and a very bright camping light on the back... It's worth noting that their camera performance needs improvement; it's noticeably inferior to Apple and Samsung cameras, though it's acceptable to me.

                          Rugged and durable mobile phones are becoming increasingly popular.

I am still using Xperia 5 and it was falling a lot.. I am a mariner ( so not to mention phone was falling like maybe 50 times... on hard flooring), so once it slipped from my boiler suit silently down to bilges tanks top of Engine Room. Guess what? Phone was found screen down under the plates. I was expecting broken screen.. but nothing.... that is because sony is sony and japanese are a way superior than any Chinese phone.

You don't have to worry such a thing with wired earphones. Also, the audio quality on wireless earbuds are worse than wired earphones. It's just a fact!

The XCover line had been a dependable refuge for fans of the headphone jack; seeing it disappear in the flagship product basically kills the XCover line for many, so people are upset. Especially since the XCover7 Pro did not gain anything for its removal, it would have been easy to preserve the jack.

                                        As for why prefer wired, it offers better audio quality than Bluetooth, and the connection is more dependable, no interference, no latency.
