All these high tech preocessor RAM and camera but no improvement on battery totally useless

    Hopefully they will use the SD8 gen 5

      Man, I hope for a bigger battery of like 5500 mAh, 5000 is so 2020! Even their camera system feels somehow outdated. They can do more, and they should do more now in my opinion.

          The fact that all chinese flagships have better specs than this and are miles better just makes this thing useless, Samsung should just stop making "flagships" or atleast try to improve something.

                      This is a failure, they cut corners on everything and raised prices in advance because they knew they couldn't afford the hobby of upgrading the RAM.
                      This is literally a downgrade for a higher price; it could have been even higher, but shareholders and your data are more valuable.

And one more thing you don’t realize is the actual behavior of batteries when they age - the bigger the battery, the more gracefully it ages, as the “normal user” (your words) won’t run it to the ground as much as a 5k battery over the span of a day, and thus the battery accumulates fewer charging cycles - fewer charging cycles means slower degradation speed.

                                  Those who criticize Samsung's 5000 mAh battery must remember that Apple also does not use silicon carbon batteries.
                                  Apple and Samsung like brands have too much to lose so they do not take risks. Silicon carbon battery is new technology and if there is some problem in long term Chinese companies wont be affected that much but for companies like Samsung and Apple it is difficult to recover after making a mistake.
                                  Also 90% of users are not game players or obsessive users and for them 5000 mAh easily lasts a day and at night they charge which is like a timetable habit so it does not matter to them

                                    Chinese phone makers have managed to put 10kmah batteries in phones which are(6.78,6.83) smaller than this phone(6.9). Samsung should have at least put 7kmah

                                      mah = milliamp hours

                                      So 5kmah = 5,000 mah battery. It's just an abbreviation and does not relate to distance measured in kilometres.
