If you find it for a really similar price get the Galaxy A56 instead, it has a better processor, a brighter HDR10+ display, an actually good main camera, a decent ultrawide, a 4K selfie camera, faster charging, IP67 rating, and a aluminium frame. And plus you still have 5 years of software updates.

    Samsung has been improved A-series since now, I cannot experience this phone before, nowadays, I keep using the "smartphone for digital detoxers" as daily driver like vivo Y02t, Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt and Infinix SMART 9. I guess it will beat my old Galaxy A23 4G. A biggest upgrade are, is using Gorilla Glass Victus+ both back and front, a Super AMOLED (except a Galaxy J7 Nxt which also using these), an 5G and raw performance of the new Snapdragon processor. A cost can be more higher now compared to in July 2022 price of Galaxy A2x series like A23 4G, RM999 vs RM1299, but it is worth it to upgrade!

                The fact that they FINALLY got rid of that hideous teardrop notch alone makes this a win.

                                Oppo Reno15 F is similarly priced but is much better choice than Galaxy A27 for countless reasons, including the following:

                                1. More durable IP68 vs. IP64 water / dust resistance
                                2. 7000 mAh battery vs. 5000 mAh battery
                                3. 80W charging vs. 25W charging
                                4. Video recording 4K@60 fps vs. 4K@30 fps
                                5. In-display fingerprint sensor vs. entry level side-mounted fingerprint scanner
                                6. Higher resolution cameras

                                Samsung's only advantage is longer software support but overall it can't beat Oppo Reno15 F. Samsung phones also historically use weak glue for back cover which detaches after a year or so, compromising water resistance and durability.
