        Anonymous, 11 Sep 2026Better buy the S25 FE for half the price. The choice between S25 FE (under 400USD) VS S26 FE (700USD) is a no brainer.

        Besides, it's the same phone with an updated chip.
        The EXACT same shenanigans Samsung tried with their flagship S26 Ultra, where the only relevant upgrade from the S25 Ultra was the new chip.

          Unfriendly reminders to all Samsung haters out there:
          - Samsung remains the best selling android phone brand out there, beating xiaomi, oppo, and all the other chinse brands by a landslide. Check the statistics yourself. Don't forget to account for confirmation bias, and I know y'all will just cherry pick some obscure data that imply chinse phones are winning. Just face the truth like a sane person with functional brain cells.
          - Chinse phones offer more hardware for less money, yes, no one is denying that, but hardware is the means, not the end. Chinese phone users have always had tons of problems with UI, ads, optimization and whatnot, and they're not going anywhere anytime soon because the chinese are known for stealing and rebrand as their own thing rather than inventing that thing themselves (side note: google "CXMT steals Samsung RAM" for some interesting news). Of course they don't know how to fix something they didn't make. If "more hardware" + shit software doesn't translate to a better overall experience than decent hardware + good software, chinse phones are as good as paperweights.
          - As for battery life, most chines phones barely beat Samsung phones in terms of battery life despite holding a much bigger battery. 7000 ish vs 5000, 40% more battery capacity, but in real world and tests, that translate to more like 10-15% more battery life because chinese phone software is a dumpster fire. So you're paying for peak inefficiency masked under "more hardware".
          - People aren't dumb, for pampered kids who have never seen a sliver of hardship in their lives, $500 or $1000 for a phone might be nothing, but for a lot of people, that's a fortune, of course they're gonna do some due diligence before buying anything. And of course, most of them choose Samsung, not chinse brands.

                          Among Chinese brands, Xiaomi has the worst reliability in the long term. Even Realme has better long term reliability.

                            Build quality is great as expected from Samsung mid range. I hate the glossy back as it is a fingerprint magnet. Better to have kept the S25FE back texture. Battery-life is very average. Performance is good (despite an Exynos chip). Camera / Photo quality is decent. Takes good photo in bright conditions, struggles in low light photo. Video is also decent. Has the new One UI and all the updates even ahead of other flagship. Loving it so far.

                                In Poland the price difference between 8/256 S26 FE and 12/256 S26 is only 23 euro... And for that 23 euro you're getting a phone with better specs in each category. S26 even has better battery endurance despite having a smaller cell. SO unless S26 FE price gets cheaper by 300-350 euro there is no point in buying it.
