I don't see the point for a phone like this. Too expensive for what your get.
Having used for a couple of days the "old" Edge 70 I can say it was a lovely phone, very thin and light, good battery life, very good finish and looks, pretty decent cameras and speakers. And it could be obtained from Motorola direct for less than half the price of this, WITH a pair of wireless earbuds. A no brainer, really!

Motorola still cannot give standalone basic standard Always On Display without anymore needing Muviz app lol

+Flat Ltpo 144hz high resolution PWM display
+good battery size(7100mah)and 90W fast charging
+Wireless charging
+Decent main sensor camera
+Snap 8 Gen5 at this price range
Cons
-heavy(221gr.)
-no telephoto and disappointing ultrawide camera
-Only 3major Android updates. Minimum should be at least 4
-heavy throttling
-8/256GB only version
Very disappointing phone by Motorola that can only be recommended when heavily discounted, with pricing closer to Poco X8 Pro Max.

Edge 70 Neo will be announced next I bet and I ain't mad about it. I've been using the edge 50 Neo as my daily for two years and it's been rock solid.

I don't know why Motorola would release a phone like this, i have the Motorola signature, is a little bit more expensive but have decent cameras with a 100× tele.
Same chipset, better design and the battery is good.
Now they have to put extra work on providing updates for a useless phone.
Every time i started to feel like Motorola is going in the right direction, they started to release a bunch of unnecessary phones.

Cameras? Not everyone cares enough about cameras to justify paying for better ones instead of a better SOC.
Build Quality? 70 Pro is made of plastic frame, and back, while 70 Max is Metal frame, and Glass back.
Battery? 70 Max is bigger (7100 VS 6500 mAh)
Display? 70 Max is better (2K 144hz LTPO AMOLED VS 1.5K 144hz LTPS AMOLED)
