Samsung's system is objectively the best on the Android market, and it's the system that defines how well a smartphone feels. Samsung has a worse telephoto lens, battery, and currently, price. The rest are on par, with Samsung winning in terms of system, AI features, and overall optimization. It's a tie. Now it's a matter of who needs what. I prefer the latter, so I choose Samsung. Stop crying and just buy the phone you want that meets your expectations, not everyone's.

    Look at all of the iBoys pretending to be fans of other android oem foldables just to denounce samsung. It's way too obvious. How pathetic. Samsung is the first, thus the best, unlike apple who wouldn't exist without the LG Prada.

Just unfortunately it's not big enough on the Ultra to even compete with it's cheaper self, but it does have a decent effect on the base one.

                Stop calling it an Ultra. The only thing ultra about it is the gouging price.
                If anything, it's underspecced compared to Honor's or Vivo's foldables, which don't even award themselves fancy monikers.

                  Physical one work better and faster for me, wish regular high end phones had those again too.

                  Also I understand why Samsung doesn't add one (yet), for now the take more space than a side one and you need 2 of them for both displays, instead of one on the side.

                        If they add:
                        - Si/C battery
                        - in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
                        - and a better sensor in the telephoto camera

                        ...then it'll be the true Ultra. But it's pretty good as it is now.

                                Who really buys these ?

                                  Still gets beaten by S26 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max in battery life, really no point in this until they can fit at least a 6500mAh juicer in it, large screened Slabs still make more sense than a Z Fold.

I have no intention to spread misinformation. I misread the review. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra has better battery life than that of the Huawei Mate X7, though.
