RedMagic 12 Pro+ runs Geekbench, confirms its chipset and RAM amount
RedMagic started teasing its next flagship smartphone, the 12 Pro+, last month. The device will become official on October 15. Ahead of that, someone in possession of a prototype has decided to run Geekbench on it. As always, that has resulted in a listing in the benchmark’s online database.
As you can see, it managed a single-core score of 3,354 and a multi-core score of 11,448 in Geekbench 7.1.0 for Android. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM in the specific prototype which ran the benchmark. Of course, more RAM configurations may be available upon launch.
The RedMagic 12 Pro+ will run Android 17 out of the box. The brand has so far revealed that it will be its most comfortable to hold flagship smartphone to date, as it's both thinner and lighter than its predecessor, while also featuring rounded corners on its frame.
