Tom pearl, 22 May 2026what the hell is this ppi density 😭It means how sharp is the picture on the display. You can best see it with fonts or icons on the screen.
If you have higher PPI (like 300 or more) things look really sharp and pleasant. If you have 200-something like this phone, things look a bit blurry and not very nice. I've had a phone like that - Xiaomi Redmi 10C and had around 250 PPI and it looked OK at first, because my previous phone had the same. But when I bought Realme 14 Pro+ and it had almost 400 PPI, the picture looked so good that when I looked at my old phone, it almost hurt my eyes.
I think this is only important if you care for a nice picture. If you want a budget phone, you can get one with lower PPI, I think also if it's lower, it will have better battery life too.

Honestly, how hard is it to make one flagship killer, one midrange all rounder, one camera focused phone and a budget phone, a year? That's just 4 phones a year. Instead companies do this nonsense. And it's not like people are replacing their phones every 6 months.

DarlingYext, 20 May 2026The tiny 50MP main camera is even more laughable. Even more laughable is the fact that it may actually be a generic 5MP sensor interpolated to 50MP, a common case in most BBK, Xiaomi and Honor low-ends. If it can't record in 4K despite the chipset supporting it, this makes sense.
