Poco M8x 5G's battery details revealed ahead of launch

Earlier this month, Poco launched the M8 Power in India with an 8,000mAh battery. The company then began teasing the M8x 5G in the country late last week. Now, Poco has revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming M8-series smartphone.

The Poco M8x 5G will pack a 7,900mAh battery, the company confirmed via an official X post. It will also support 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

Poco confirmed yesterday that the M8x 5G will launch in India on August 21, while also revealing several key specifications.

The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It will also feature a large vapor chamber for improved heat dissipation.

According to a tipster, the Poco M8x 5G will sport a 6.9-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and cost less than INR 20,000.
