Oppo Reno17 series confirmed to launch next month, blind pre-orders go live
Oppo’s upcoming Reno17 series has been the subject of several leaks and rumors over the past few weeks. While a recent rumor pointed to a launch next month, Oppo has now officially confirmed the timeline.
In a post on Weibo, Oppo's official account confirmed that the Reno17 series will launch in China next month, although the company has yet to announce an exact date. Interested buyers can already visit Oppo's online store to pre-reserve the upcoming smartphones.
Alongside the Reno17 series, Oppo will also introduce its new Watch 5 smartwatch and Pad Air 6 tablet. Both devices are also available to pre-reserve in China.
Oppo’s Reno17 series is expected to include two models, the base Reno17 and the Reno17 Pro. The former is tipped to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Pro model could be powered by the Dimensity 8550 SoC.
The Reno17 Pro is also rumored to feature a 6.32-inch OLED display, a 200MP primary rear camera and a 7,000mAh battery. Both phones are expected to run Android 17-based ColorOS 17.
