IsaacRot, 21 Apr 2026Same with me here broI finally got the oppo find x9 (base model), because it is a global set and I am worried of the China set's problem in my country as I have heard about signal reception issue and apps incompatibility.
So far I am very satisfied with the oppo find x9. Great battery life, great camera, great OS and smooth. Initially had doubt with Dimensity chipset as Snapdragon always perform better (as previous user of Samsung S20 FE), but as a non-gamer, this chipset just works fine for me.

Eres7, 08 Mar 2026when will GSMArena drop the review on this device? i need ... moreThe Find X9 has a slightly bigger main camera sensor. If you're gonna go for an older Oppo get an X8 Pro instead unless you need the newest chipset.

I pulled a trigger on this device and never looked back.
I am getting 10+ hours of screen on time easily. The screen is a pure pleasure to look at, and that comes from me havin severe pwm sensitivity from oled flicker. The camera is great, although it tends to miss the exposure 1 in every 10 shots, but it's easy to live with. The BT audio is grand and Oppo's O'Reality is better than Dolby Atmos.
The only con so far is that I am using a third party keyboard (Switkey) which can have a hint of lag on occasion, but nothing drastic (not sure if it's input lag or a bad calibration with the vibration motor). Selfie camera could also be a bit better, if that's youir thing.
I actually took this over the Pro because it hurt my eyes significantly less, and the price was lower for an experience that's pretty much the same, unless you nitpick around the camera features.

This phone lacks Auto focus in Selfie shooter which is a serious con imho. selfies are blurry 7 out of 10 times. you need to keep phone much steady.

i need to know what's the upgrade in terms user experience if compare to Find X8.
i need a new compact phone. getting bored with iphone and pixel.

While viewing FB reels in portrait mode a black thick line appears on the right side. Even aervice centre people have not been able to give a solution. Any solutions

And the Chinese version is subsidized by software bloat and possibly government backdoors.

Those two were my dream phone, until i decided to settle for another Samsung again (been using the brand for over 12years now) and i needed a fresh air.
