Apple can only "innovate" what Samsung is willing to sell to them. They stopped using it as people complained the Teams call quality was simply too poor. It was never permanently scrapped. Only a person living in an oblivious bubble would tell themselves it was discontinued.

If it's up to me, I won't include the camera in/on the inner screen. But I understand that it's a valid use case to use the inner screen for video calls.

                      Guess what else is also cool, 1.4:1 ratio that smasung was doing on their original galaxy fold which they immediately abandoned.

                      Suddenly it is cool and they included it in galaxy gold 8 and its sales soared ofc because as is typical with Samsung they took the wrong turn with fold 2.

                                      These cameras are not very good. I definitely won't be buying one. They should focus on stereo separation instead.

                                        Samsung Galaxy Fold already learns from at least 6 years experiences of trials and errors, when iPhone Duo only starts to make first ever practical mistakes but maybe not yet even learning. Still unsurprising how Apple iPhone is even behind Samsung when Samsung is at least at mid-late 2024
