They were the ones convincing Oculus/Meta the winning path was an affordable path. Samsung probably sold between 10-20 million VR headsets before leaving for the empty promises of Microsoft's Windows XR. Crap ecosystems will always be that.

        That said, XR glasses is likely dead in the water. They're getting banned in a lot of countries, for obvious reasons.

            It took Samsung once again to inject some innovation into the market.

              Real-time translation, voice direction, built-in camera, and Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip. Those are the same feature you find in Rokid AI Glasses/Glasses Style and Meta Ray-Ban, which neither runs on Android XR.
