Again, I KNOW phones used to be cheaper, ALL PHONES launching now will have worse specs or will be more expensive.

I'm strictly talking about newly released phones and comparing their pricing.

It's still a phone thought primarily for the chinese market, and when they were rebranded as the R phones they sometimes had different camera setups.

      There are plenty of flagships from 2-3yrs back than can be had for less than $700 which can run any game you throw at it (highest settings), and they have a triple camera setup too.

This is the new midrange lineup where some things will be lacking. Even the more expensive win 2 has a dual camera setup because it's a gaming phone.

                No one expects a redmagic to have a great camera system just because it's an expensive phone, but this ace 7 pro is actually pretty decent with that 3.5x zoom, instead of a mediocre ultrawide like others

                          655 and 755 in equivalent us dollars? Wasn't the ace 2, a 2020 device, only 300$ dollars for west prices and even cheaper in the Chinese market? What the fuck? It climbed two market segments in price, in 6 years?

                              The heat dissipator from the fan is located in the camera island. This is better than having it in the phone's frame which can sometimes be blocked by a hand.

                                Starting price too high for that spec

                                      idk about this tiny fans 2-3 years down the road, its not like you can tear it down like pc to clean it, or how long will it last.

                                        "there's no ultrawide camera, probably due to size constraints."

                                        Since when did Gsmarena started sanitizing their reviews?
                                        No excuse for lack of triple camera setup in this price range
