Please add DI and round frames of the body like on iPhone 15 at least...sharp edges are uncomfortable to hold the phone in the hand.

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2026Billions of users choose Android because they are too poor ... more"Android is not the dominate mobile os anywhere outside of the thi®d world or places western companies aren't banned."
>>> iOS only dominates in USA or some European countries simply because they make it tougher for other brands to operate via various means.
Western companies aren't banned in other places, but they are indeed scared of the Eastern companies taking over their market, hence the sanctions, restrictions, etc.
What people in the West use simply doesn't matter.
That market is irrelevant.
You can continue to call India and China thi®d world, but the reality is that these are the biggest smartphone markets in the world, and places where you actually get a choice among brands at appropriate prices, the same choice than westerners don't have.
Besides, the iPhone wouldn't exist if not for China.
Go ask Chatgpt how much the iPhone will cost if it was completely manufactured in the USA.

i0S.- Never.- Again., 30 Oct 2026"when millions stick with a system across generations,... moreComparing raw market volume without context is just disingenuous. Apple doesn't make $150-250 budget devices, which account for the vast majority of global Android shipments. Global market share measures volume, not flagship popularity.

i0S.- Never.- Again., 30 Oct 2026"when millions stick with a system across generations,... moreThat doesn't actually counter my point in the slightest. At the end of the day, there will still be people who choose iOS over Android. They have their own reasons, and they simply won't care for your opinion on the matter. Nothing you say here can refute that, nor can you properly invalidate their reasoning simply because you do not agree with it.

i0S.- Never.- Again., 30 Oct 2026"when millions stick with a system across generations,... moreBillions of users choose Android because they are too poor to choose anything else. Every data metric available proves this. Android is not the dominate mobile os anywhere outside of the third world or places western companies aren't banned.

There are no redeeming qualities... moreAll I am reading here is opinion, nothing of actual substance. And seeing as you phrased this as a question, 'Many are invested in iOS?' I'll answer: yes, many are indeed, and among them, many will have been for close to two decades at this point. That loyalty is precisely what makes the platform's pull self-evident; when millions stick with a system across generations, it’s because real world familiarity and utility outweigh whatever spec sheet advantages the comeptition holds on paper.
You're welcome to not agree with them of course, but assuming they are somehow incorrect for not sharing your views? Well, arrogance, nothing more

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2026Budget Android phones don't get flagship processor... moreAny phone with flagship processor cannot be combined with a downgraded 60hz display.
Grandmas and children are perfectly happy with a $350 Android mid-ranger.
They will notice the difference between 120hz and 60hz in Ui, battery life, charging speeds, etc.
But they won't notice the difference between flagship chip and midrange chip. Even budget chipsets are enough for most old people.
The iPhone 18e is a poor choice unless you are in USA.
Even there, the Pixel A series is more than sufficient.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2026Budget Android phones don't get flagship processor... moreTrue, but I would argue that things like processors are not really an important factor to buyers of E series iPhones or budget Androids. Yes the IPhone smokes the Android competition in this regard, but so long as the experience is fluid enough I really cannot see it being a factor.
I think if cost if your overall highest priority, and Android will be the logical choice. That is unless it has to be IOS, in which case it obviously need to be an iPhone.

A lot of this sounds off to me, 9gb ram for starters? and why would Apple give this device it's own unique selfie camera, surely it would either be another 12mp, or the 18mp square format unit. I just can't see Apple sourcing unique components for the E series line.
Will just have to wait and see though....

But those Androids don't run IOS, which many will have time invested in, familiarity with and yes perhaps even a preference for. Now you don't have to agree with such people on any of that, and given your name tag, it's blatantly obvious where you stand on the matter. But my bet would be such people will simply not give a stuff🤷♀️

They're releasing the base model and e model at the same time? Your new CEO seems a bit unhinged. Pushing through a foldable they must have known in testing was going to break in more than one way, and releasing the off-release cycle phone at the same time as the off'ed release phone at the same time. Are there any odds on when he's getting the boot?

Anonymous, 28 Oct 20266.12 and 9 gig of ram?!!It's not compact because of thick bezels.
It's actually 6.3 inch-sized like iPhone 17/18.
Only like 3mm shorter, like 17e vs. 17.
