As long as foldable comes with a low cost easy to scratch screen i am really not interested.
First foldable which can fold, bend and does not break will atttract my attention. Until then bar phones are for me.
Preferably Motorola for pure android experience great battery health and ultra fast charging speeds. Laggy buggy androids with UI isnt my forte.
IOS which is much worse than that isnt my forte either.
huawei with Harmony would be good option of they fix few things here and there.

Apple has thorough checks to ensure all money earned gets taxed properly by Apple. I play plenty of cross platform Android games with community interaction, and the Apple game updates are often massively delayed.

            Here the Z Fold 8 is in base 256GB variant 900 euro less expensive than the Duo base 256GB variant.

              Well apple is new to this game, the software developers will need to catch up, production line will need to mature, saw that dust resistance test made seems as flawed as any foldable… surprised apple didn’t plan this as true apple with all well calibrated from the get go. will get my duo on gen 2 or 3. funny thing the most positive thing on the apple duo was that sammy decided to make a huge discount. Just bought a fold 8… had sammy foldables before, was mostly using apple devices nowadays, my primary device was the 17 pro max and secondary a vivo x300 pro. Planning to use the fold 8 as main driver, so work, emails and stuff… 17 pro max as on the go shooter only with my personal accounts and x300 pro, for the quality stuff and mostly configured as professional camera.

Android apps naturally scale and most of the time, that is already enough. If not, apps tend to get optimized fairly quickly. Haven't heard of people complaining about updates being late either, in fact they tend to get updated quicker than slab phones form what I've seen. Maybe you're referring to Apple releasing the update for every model at once, which sounds like a good thing but ended up causing issues plenty of times lately, because any bug in the update is shared to everyone at once, too.

                  not interested in foldables and i don't see a future time when i'll be but i would buy one like
                  Huawei Pura X View simply because i like the form factor.
                  that, if they launch globally, i'm not gonna bother with an OS in chinese and set up for their country

                        Feel its a much better buy than the Duo and can be had for even cheaper the $300 less. The square corners, the passport look, the glossy screen, more polished UI for the shape. Just looks like a better product if you don't need iOS.

If this 300 buck rebate is on Amazon I'd also take it with a pinch of salt. They're not a trillion dollar company by going the consumer protecting path.

                              You can get it for way less, still it’s being expensive. Yet miles better than an iPhone. Only disadvantage is that the Duo is getting pencil support whereas the Fold doesn’t have the s-pen. I would always choose Android anyways.

Samsung is forced to lower its price! Meanwhile, the demand for the iPhone Duo is extremely High, the Supply is very low. No wonder many people who have pre-ordered the iPhone Duo won't get it until 2027 just like last year.

                                      Paying 2300 to 3900 depends on storage for Apple is equal to a 15 years building own house, flat, villa from scratch and when you are finnaly done after 15 years you set up lots of explosives and starts againw hole thing.

                                        IN terms of 1TB and more Duo is 3900 eur for 2TB variant while fold is 1800.
