I do not trust any third party wallet app except Apple’s. Third parties can’t ever reach the level of security and privacy that Apple’s native Wallet app can. Apple is the best in these areas and other companies are angry for not being able to rise to that same level. So they push governments to make laws that bring Apple’s excellence down to the lower levels that B-class and C-class companies are able to achieve. The smart and competent company is forced to offer worse products and services just so it doesn’t make everyone else look bad.

What do you mean who uses NFC?
Everybody I know uses tap to pay (NFC). Even my very old parents use NFC. NFC chips are even in every credit card on earth.
I use NFC on my watch (Galaxy Watch - GPay).

              Who uses NFC for payments?

                >Beyond payment apps, the CMA envisions this opening the door to digital IDs and age verification tools, digital car, hotel, and workplace keys, tickets and travel passes, and loyalty programs.

                >digital IDs and age verification tools

I see what UK government is planning, get out of here.

Apple's walled garden keeps users in and competitors out.

                    *Contractless

I hate the way they have like four versions of the iphone for a reason that 5G MMWave is still too young that only the USA was still operating.

Imagine if we could get all of the 5G **** with the satellite connectivity and dual-sim at the same unit???

                      - Apple, for its part, isn't happy. "We do not believe the CMA should require Apple to adopt an approach with lower privacy and security protections," a company spokesperson told Reuters

And here we go AGAIN with the same bla bla bla, yadda yadda yappy yappy about security and privacy.

We all know it's not about that. It's all about the money.

Its like government owned brands thinking they are safe from the law, like Apple and the UK
