User935, 21 Oct 2026"Second, you are already crying about the 'X300 U... moreThe irony of you crying about "misinformation" while literally ignoring the fact that you still haven't backed up any of your claims about the X200 or X300 Ultra downgrades. 🤫
Whether you mentioned the X500 or not, you are still whining about unreleased phones and completely ignoring how custom sensor blueprints work just to push a narrative. It's funny how you tell others to "get a hobby" when you are the one under every single Vivo article copy-pasting the exact same negative rants for months.
If pointing out your lack of technical knowledge is "picking fights," then maybe you should learn how phone cameras actually work before posting. Take your own advice and find a hobby that doesn't involve getting emotional over smartphone brands.
Have a nice day! 💀

I only mentioned the downgrades on X200 and X300 Ultra, not X500.
Stop trolling with misinformation and flat out lies under my every post. Get a hobby if you're so bored and miserable all you do all day is trying to pick fights on the internet. Thank you in advance.

User935, 20 Oct 2026Except they've downgraded the "main's" ... moreYou're literally living in an alternate reality and inventing specs just to be mad. 💀
First, the X200 Ultra didn't 'downgrade' the main sensor; it switched to a custom blueprint that optimized light intake and readout speed far better than older generations. Second, you are already crying about the 'X300 Ultra' and 'X500 Ultra' reducing apertures when the full official spec sheets aren't even out yet.
And comparing Vivo's massive hardware jumps to Apple? Vivo is literally pioneering high-density silicon-carbon batteries (hello, 7,000mAh rumors?) and stacking massive periscope sensors while Apple just gave people a touch-sensitive strip for their camera.
If you're going to troll under every single Vivo post, at least open Google and check actual facts first instead of embarrassing yourself with copy-pasted hate. 🤫

User935, 21 Oct 2026Guess that's some kind of a joke so... "hahaha&qu... moreImagine judging the ultimate cameraphone of 2026 based on a button design from 2006. 💀
If you really need 'several other buttons' on a smartphone to feel like a pro photographer, maybe you should stick to your 20-year-old phone or carry a DSLR instead of complaining under every single Vivo thread.
Vivo doesn’t need a physical button as a marketing gimmick because their budget actually goes into pioneering hardware—like massive telephoto sensors, custom V-series imaging chips, and Zeiss optics that routinely smoke the competition in actual photo quality. Keeping a clean, ergonomic design while pushing a rumored 7,000mAh battery into a sleek chassis is real engineering, not 'cost-cutting.'
But sure, tell us more about how a plastic clicky button is what makes a phone 'serious' about photography. 🤭

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2026Shutter button is a gimmick.
Even iPhone users don't ... moreGuess that's some kind of a joke so... "hahaha" 🤷♂️
If not... No idea which "iPhone users" you mean exactly or why they should be a reference here. The average iPhone user is not likely to be very proficient in using a camera, on the phone or otherwise, and they're used to a lot of the same cost-cutting vivo is copying so the button is still a novelty to them. 🤭
I use the (proper nice two stage) shutter button on my phone now same as I did 20 years ago and same as I do on my cameras for every photo. Obviously a company isn't very serious about their product but only do it for the quick buck if they're selling a 1500+ € "ultimate cameraphone" without a simple shutter button. They should in fact have several other buttons too, the more the merrier.

Same sh as "Crapple", just has a different logo etched on the back cover.

Cpt.Power, 19 Oct 2026Still waiting to see Xiaomi Ultra model. Wait, I thought they had canceled the 18 ultra?
They had also decided to postpone the modular camera/lens system so I am not sure what Xiaomi can add as the added value over the pro max series...

PatDat, 19 Oct 2026I would pick bigger telephoto over 1 inch main sensor. But the Chinese Ultras already have bigger telephoto sensors.
It's the 1" sensors that got downgraded on all, except on the Xiaomi.

Conan Ng, 19 Oct 2026Better wait for this, instead of buying Vivo X300 Ultra no... moreX300U will be cheaper than the 500U and the difference in "performance" will be inconsequential.

Better wait for this,
instead of buying Vivo X300 Ultra now.
(For triple 200MP lenses + 7000mAh battery)
More curious about Oppo's turn move in April 2027.
But not even sure Find X10 Ultra will happen or not!
(Especially hardly imaginable what else can be left by Oppo Find X10 Pro Max enough for an Ultra)
