The top frequency of 9050 pro is 3.1 Ghz, the benchmark was run at 1.75Ghz.
As tech team, you should know that means the benchmark app isn't fully optimized and cannot run the chip at full speed.

                    I think everybody reading this should know that Kirin cannot run Geekbench, it is a pointless benchmark for their system. You can basically double both the single and multi scores and it would still be just as accurate.
                    The 9050 pro is suprisingly efficient, and even a match to the elite gen 5, which is kinda insane

That being said, I agree that it should be fine for daily use. IDK if I agree it's better than Tensor or that most people should even be bothered to care once the SoC is good enough. Both Google and Huawei have fairly long support windows for their devices which can make them good purchases. I also think both have some of the best image processing in mobile.

                          This is on Geekbench 7 while 8 Gen 2 and 1 were on Geekbench 5 and 6 if you test Kirin 9050 pro on Geekbench 6.7 it scores way above 8 Gen 3 in terms of multi core while Single core slightly above 8 gen 2

                              It may seem that you're losing something but if you're not a heavy gamer, this is more than an enough for a comfortable use. Well, kirins do lack some protocols and other features we take for granted but if they are that important or not i guess everyone decides for themselves

                                    This processor is very optimized and beats the competing Pixel series in terms of better real world performance and thermal efficiency.

                                    Games which struggle on Pixel, play very well on this chipset.
