global doesn't mean nort... moreOnePlus has not announced any plans to introduce the OnePlus 16 in India, the only other market it could possibly get released in.
OnePlus have already disassembled their sales infrastructure for North America and for Europe.
And the only reason anyone in India is thinking it may be released for the market in India is irrational hope.

And why is it pointless if it "takes extra steps to get it to work"? Are a few extra steps that difficult for you?

PxIce, 02 Oct 2026Still, most won't be able to buy it without importing ... moreImport itself is not a problem because until 2018 each of us imported at our own risk.
The problem is that OPPO makes rooting difficult and the regional lock itself means that some functions may not work, so buying a device for 1000+ euros is pointless when you have to take extra steps to get it work😵

It's going to be a very good alrounder but obviously with a high price. Probably the same price or just slightly less than the Iqoo. I'd personally prefer this as the video quality on yhe Iqoo is toi poor yet again but the IQOO16 is selling well. The 2k Samsung screen seems to be a big selling point for Chinese consumers
