                Man Inwas really looking forward to upgrading from my S26 Ultra to the Honor, since their FaceID is amazing. However, I never expected I'd be using the privacybdisplay so much that it has become an absolute must have for me...

                Sadly, the leaks about Honor having a privacy display weren't real...

                      For ultras the iphone has better stability when the lighting is middling, meaning not so low light that the big sensor flexes its muscles, it's been a little while since i saw those videos so my memory might be hazy.

                      I personally overall prefer the Vivo videos, their style is supremely nice and the global properties in noise, lack of oversharpening, dynamic range naturalness, all that are well under control alongside stability. X300 ultra is great. I have an x200 ultra and am very happy with it. But the iphone is still better in stability overall, it's just how it is, only place the x200 or x300 ultra win are in UW cams, the cams are so much larger and vivo invested so much time and effort in both hardware and software stabilisation it shows, even then the difference isnt that big

                      i mostly watch techtablets and technick's comparisons.

                        From 3 videos I just watched, comparing 18pm with find x9 ultra, the oppo had better stability/details/colors during the day, and during the night it wasn't even a competition (for the tele lens specifically).

                                I used to have a canon eos 70d and a relative had a 700d, i know what "real colors" are. I vastly prefer canon colors over nikon. Fuji=sony>canon>>>nikon.

                                I can take my phone anywhere, even to the toilet, i can watch reels and take shots with the phone at the same time and my phone lasts all day long while doing all that.

                                Also, where do you see the oil painting in the x200 ultra shots? I have turned down sharpness so maybe im too used to seeing more beautiful shots instead of the default settings.

                                Sure there are a fair few misses with overprocessing but i can snap another photo and it fixes it, it's not 100% consistent, nothing is.

They idea the unibody idea, where the body and the camera bump seamlessly integrate in one slab of glass. The iphone looks like the mi 11 ultra but the idea of this whole design was straight ripped off from oppo. The camera bump was more dramatic and cooler looking as well btw just look at the photos

                                      The problems persist with the x500 pro max, it's easily visible in any comparison. Apple is leagues ahead in video stability be it day or night time. That's DESPITE a smaller crop. And due to the smaller crop, they retain more detail.

                                      I dont know why chinese manufacturers are able to pull off such magic with images but struggle with videos so much. But i'd take this over apple any day because even if the videos are a 7/10, at least the images are 10/10. I just wish they focused on selfie cams more. They always neglect this.

                                        then you consider the fact that apple optimises all lenses and chinese makers optimise mostly the main cam and basically completely forget the selfie cam. It's why iphones are such reliable shooters, all lenses work nicely. They wont be great but they wont be terrible either, they'll "just work".
