Shamrock Sean, 14 Sep 2026Samsung is behind on screen tech and quality nowHow can they be behind on screen tech if they make most of the high end phone screens?

DarlingYext, 14 Sep 2026Pointless if the next gen is also 8 bit and has the screen ... morehow's that feature bad? what's wrong with it?

imagine buying a samsung "flagship" in the s27 and s27 plus, and not only will you NOT get the snapdragon chip but you're also getting older display tech. Add the stagnant battery and charging, the stagnant camera system, speakers that aren't top tier, haptics which are eclipsed by apple and google. Like damn bro.

Samsung doesnt respect its customers yet their customers would give everything for em lol. The levels of consumerism we're reaching is scary.

It isn't vapourware, like Apple's and most Chinese clones are. You can walk into any retailer and pick one up. Not "some time later in the fall", like ALL the others "sell" their stuff.

It's the thinnest and lightest foldable in its category, by a wide margin. About a whopping 50 grams lighter than the Apple "Fold8", and about 2mm thinner when folded up. Samsung is doing fine.

IMO, Samsung treats it's own customers as second class. Despite making the panels, other manufacturers get them first and offer a richer experience (10 bit, Dolby Vision, higher refresh, etc). Samsung customers get them late and are usually stuck with a badly optimised 8 bit version. Worse still, S series 'flagships' are hideously expensive, minimally improved and depreciate like crazy.

How about increase pwm frequency for people with pwm sensitivity like me? There are no great phones in the market with high pwm frequency.
