You were probably transfering/cloning apps and data from other vendors/phones. That is why you have drain and bad battery.

Honor needs full change of software department by mobile departmen, also my honor 8 pro,7 pro and v5 wokrs like shttt never before all camres ,focusing, battery drain....rstarting its own.....a samrt mobile is nothing without a good software...no matter you brnign 10000mp or 4.ghz cpu if your department is full of no interest of true kernels and softawres also highway on mainboard than you can only pray sales area.

Honor also needs to ensure that third-party launchers run reliably and with full functionality; otherwise, the whole thing is of no interest outside of Asia.

While Sammy has unmatched customizations with Goodlock modules, all the routines/automation, Dex, Knox security, screen calling, Galaxy AI that can be forced to run on the device only, a huge ecosystem, etc.

also i should mention feature like MAGIC PORTAL feature which is the most helpful idea i ever saw in all smartphones history , it was one of the smartphone features that i was looking forward to see it be implemented correctly to their UI even the big giants fall centuries behind honor to do something like that even its old parent company are falling behind it ....

wow such a phone
but to be fair your phone is the most good reliable one in video and picture even iphone fall behind it ... so i give you that

I'm still in the search. But i must say i don't like Honor OS.
Tried it with Magic6 Pro, but it's just not for me unfortunately.
Phone was cool though.

full of helpfull f... moreLiterally one of the worst android OS out there, combining a cheap-looking iOS liquid glass knockoff with endless AI slop junk.
Sure, it's possible to disable most of the annoying Yoyo AI stuff, but it removed the camera button remap settings on my Honor Magic 8 Pro Air too.
And China MagicOS 10 is an absolute joke for customization, since you can't even change the default launcher. The UI inconsistencies are crazy, taking Honor a full year just to slap their tacky cheap liquid glass theme onto a few other basic apps. In addition to bugs and poor camera quality.
Anyway, like every other Android lazy Chinese iOS knockoff software, none of the core Google apps like the Play Store / third party apps are getting that iOS knockoff visual update anytime soon, so the cheap UI inconsistencies are here to stay.

Another heavily bloated, AI-ified, and spy-ified UI on top of Android? Yes! Keep ’em coming, we really need them. I mean, one can never have enough. 🤦🏻♂️

So charging with non honor brand charger will be faster

full of helpfull features, its even in front of its previous parent company in every way .... but
it start to adopt goblin bloatware last time magic series used goblin messages , but i am looking forward that they are going to ditch it and return to their own messages app lime what they did last time to
