    Anonymous, 2 hours agoWithout an improvement in price, it'll flop again. That, and its battery. At least Samsung had the decency to finally use a silicone-carbon battery in their latest phones. With Apple, I doubt it.

        potato4k, 8 hours agoIf the second camera rumor was true, I'm really curiou... morePreviously, the camera didn’t fit in the upper middle because that’s where the Face ID components were. I think putting it below the other camera and making the plateau bigger like on the Pros is the obvious solution. But I still wonder whether they‘d rather come up with something different, maybe diagonal like on the 13-15, it would make the plateau take up a smaller part of the rear, but that would probably look weird with the plateau still being full width.

          If the second camera rumor was true, I'm really curious where Apple would put it. I mean the center of the plateau of the iPhone Air already contains partially the phone's electronics, including partial part of the SoC, along with the electronics for FaceID. If Apple were to shoehorn an extra camera lens unit, then they would have to make the whole logic board smaller, sandwiched between the battery and the plateau.

          Unless Apple expand the camera plateau so it's more similar to the Pro series. Then there's more than enough extra room to play with

            I have iPhone 17, I could do without the second speaker or the smaller battery but I would not want to not have the ultrawide which also acts as a macro. So if Air 2 is light enough I would consider it, but I don’t like that it’s bigger

              ..apple won't include battery with this model, it is so efficient that there's no need for it..

                For 450-500€ it would be, not to say good but okay deal...

                  absolutely not interesting information for the air. the only thing i wanna hear is using new battery tech to get much more battery in it. i know apple well enough to know it will be around 2031 when that happens.
