Report: Samsung to be exclusive display supplier for OLED MacBooks

Samsung will supply an estimated 2.5 million OLED display units for the upcoming MacBooks.

And Apple choose only Samsung because only Samsung produce OLED panel with high PWM frequency. As good as OLED is, I avoid OLED because of PWM. It will create headache if you use you laptop longer at lower brightness.
BTW, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i already has been equipped with that display. Apple may get the same or improved version.

                          I don't think this is gonna be much exciting from a hardware perspective compared to TCL's CSOT LCD panel in a 14-inch laptop display that can dial down as low as 0.01 Hz (basically a static image) when it's idle. I wanna see that display in an actual laptop. Battery life will be crazy.
